CompuCredit Appoints New Director of Corporate Communications

Building CompuCredit Corporation announced on June 21 that Thomas R. Donahue has been appointed to the newly established position of Director of Corporate Communications. In this role, Donahue is responsible for the Company's global communications strategy, reputation management and media relations capabilities.

"With Tom's deep and broad expertise, we will look to him to help lead our external and internal communications efforts," said Denise Harrod, CompuCredit's Vice President for Government Affairs. "He brings with him more than 25 years worth of media relations and employee communications experience, including at a Fortune 500 publicly traded company, as well as public policy communications. We are very pleased to welcome him to the CompuCredit team."

Prior to joining CompuCredit, Donahue, 47, was a senior executive within both public relations agencies and in the corporate sector. Most recently, he was a principal with Matlock Advertising & Public Relations, where he led the agency's public relations practice. As director of corporate communications for Delta Air Lines, Donahue led the air carrier's external and internal communications. Previously, Donahue founded a consulting practice in Washington, D.C., where he also served as an aide to U.S. Senator Edward M. Kennedy.
