Equifax Inc. today announced that Coretha M. Rushing has been named Chief Administrative Officer, reporting to Equifax Chairman and CEO Richard F. Smith.
Rushing brings 25 years of human resources experience to Equifax. She recently served as Senior Vice President of Human Resources at The Coca-Cola Company where she led all human resource functions for the global beverage company. She joined Coca-Cola in 1994 after holding several human resource management positions with Pizza Hut and IBM Corp. Since leaving Coca-Cola in 2004, Rushing has been an executive coach and HR consultant with Atlanta-based Cameron Wesley LLC.

"Coretha's diverse experience in all aspects of human resources and her success in aligning HR programs with business initiatives will serve as an invaluable asset to Equifax and its 4,600 employees worldwide," Smith said.
As Chief Administrative Officer, Rushing's global responsibilities include human resources, compensation and benefits, community affairs, physical security, and special events. Karen Gaston, who has served in this role, is retiring from Equifax after 29 years of service to pursue other professional and community opportunities.
A native of Virginia, Rushing received her bachelor degree in industrial psychology from East Carolina University and holds a master's in human resources and counseling from George Washington University.
