Global Payments Inc. a leader in electronic transaction payment processing, announced today that its board of directors approved a third quarter dividend of $0.02 per common share payable May 31, 2006 to shareholders of record as of May 17, 2006. As previously announced, the company completed a two-for-one split of its common stock on October 28, 2005. The third quarter dividend is payable on post- split shares and is equivalent to a dividend of $0.04 per share on pre-split shares.
