Global Payments Inc. recently announced that HealthCard Systems, LLC has signed a new, multi-year agreement, extending its long-term relationship with the company. HealthCard Systems provides credit and debit card processing specifically for healthcare and healthcare-related industries.

The agreement means that Global Payments will provide HealthCard Systems with comprehensive front and back-end transaction processing services, including risk management, settlement accounting and technical support. In addition, the services provided will include terminal-based and Web-based authorization for all major credit and debit cards.
